Privacy Policy
Last updated: 24 July 2026
Happy Tots Vending Solutions ("we", "us") operates vending machines stocked with baby and family essentials, and the website happytotsvendingsolutions.co.uk. We keep the personal information we handle to a minimum, and this policy explains what we collect, why, and the choices you have. We aim to comply with UK data protection law, including the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018.
Who we are
Happy Tots Vending Solutions is the controller of the personal information described in this policy. You can contact us about anything privacy-related at happytotsvending@gmail.com.
What we collect and why
- Contact form messages. If you write to us through the website, we receive your name, email address and message. We use these solely to reply to you and deal with your enquiry. Our lawful basis is our legitimate interest in responding to people who contact us.
- Email correspondence. If you email us directly, we keep the correspondence for as long as needed to handle the matter.
- Purchases at our vending machines. Card and contactless payments at our machines are processed by regulated payment providers. We never see or store your card details; the payment provider processes them under its own privacy policy.
- Technical logs. Our website hosting provider (Netlify) keeps short-lived server logs (such as IP addresses) for security and to keep the site running reliably.
What we don't do: we don't run advertising or tracking cookies on this website, we don't sell or rent personal information to anyone, and we don't send marketing emails unless you have specifically asked to hear from us.
Cookies and third-party services
This website does not set advertising or analytics cookies. A few third-party services are used to make the site work: our hosting and contact form are provided by Netlify, and our text styling is loaded from Google Fonts, which means your browser requests those files from Google's servers when the page loads. These providers may process your IP address as a technical necessity of delivering the service.
Who we share information with
Only the service providers who help us run things — our website host (Netlify, which stores contact form submissions on our behalf), our email provider, and payment providers at our machines. Each acts under its own security and privacy obligations. We may also share information where the law requires it.
How long we keep information
Contact form messages and emails are kept only as long as needed to handle your enquiry and for a reasonable period afterwards, then deleted. We review what we hold periodically and remove anything we no longer need.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law you have rights over your personal information, including the right to ask for a copy of it, to have it corrected or deleted, to object to or restrict our use of it, and to withdraw any consent you have given. To exercise any of these, email us at happytotsvending@gmail.com and we'll respond promptly.
If you're unhappy with how we've handled your information, you can complain to the UK's Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk.
Children
Our machines serve families, but our website is aimed at parents, carers and venue partners. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has sent us their details, contact us and we will delete them.
Changes to this policy
If we change how we handle personal information — for example, if we add analytics or a newsletter — we will update this page and change the date at the top.
